Elementary Wrestling Schedule

The elementary wrestlers will have practice on Tuesday from 5:30-7 pm.
On Thursday, the elementary wrestlers will have a match at FC in the small gym. Wrestlers should report at 5:30 pm to help set-up the gym. If your son can not attend on Thursday---please contact Jan Mahon. We need some parental volunteers to help keep
time on Thursday. We will have varsity wrestlers keeping score at the tables. We will have a refreshment stand with snacks, drinks, and also wrestling sweatshirts and tee-shirts if you are still looking for a holiday gift.

We will have another elementary practice on Tuesday, December 20 from 5:30-7 pm.
On Wednesday, December 21, the wrestlers will wrestle at NA. More information about that match next week.

There will not be any elementary practices or matches from December 22-26. We will schedule morning elementary practices on December 26 and 27 and will send a schedule next week with the times.

Seven of the fourteen Allegheny County Tournament weight classes have sponsors. So we still have seven weight class sponsorships available. If you know a business owner that might be interested in sponsorship, please contact me and I will send them the
information.

The varsity wrestling team opened the season at the Hampton Duals this weekend. The Foxes defeated the Moon Tigers and the Baldwin Highlanders on Friday evening.
On Saturday, the Foxes outscored Langley before earning a come-from-behind victory over Mt. Lebanon.
The team then defeated Carlynton to earn a spot in the Finals.
The Foxes suffered their first loss of the season to a strong Hampton team to finish as Runner-Up in the event.
The 5-1 dual meet record is a great beginning for the young team.
