Fans, as you know Wrestling may potentially be eliminated as an Olympic sport.

There is a petition to sign on Change.org which asks the International Olympic Committee to keep the oldest sport where it rightfully belongs, as a core sport in the Olympic Games.

Please do your part:

1) click the link below and sign the petition.

2) Forward this to anyone and everyone you know asking them to do the same.

This week's Varsity Schedule and Update

The varsity had a successful trip to Sharon PA for their Dual Meet Tournament on Saturday.

The Foxes suffered a loss to Shaler 37-36 in the opening round. The team rallied with a victory over Valley (45-29) and upset wins over Sharon (33-32) and Smethport (39-27) to qualify for the tournament finals. The Foxes couldn't match the strength of
Franklin Regional currently the #2 team in WPIAL (57-27) and finished in Second Place in the ten team tournament.

The young and inexperienced Foxes continue to improve each week. There were many "heroes" in each varsity match on Saturday. One of many highlights of the day was the overtime victory of Senior Tyler Lever over Luke Fleck of Franklin Regional. Fleck is
currently the #3 ranked wrestler in the WPIAL at 285 lbs.
