The Fox Chapel Varsity Wrestling team opened the season with a 43-30 Section 3 victory over Mars. Alex Carlier, Dan Mahon and Tyler Lever recorded falls, Sam Molina, Cristian Nicolescu and Jarrod Rice received forfeit wins, Artie Newman won by major
decision and Anthony Brooks recorded a decision. The Foxes competed with four regular wrestlers out of the line-up due to illness or injury: Shane Bialowas, Conner Whelan, Jon Freismuth and Adam Bisnowaty.

The Foxes wrestle Friday night, December 17, at 7:00 pm against the Shaler Titans. This is another Section 3 match and is also our annual Alumni Recognition Night. The DMS wrestling squad tackles the Shaler team at 5:45 pm Friday evening.
